Marc Edelman teaches and writes in the areas of property, sports law, and antitrust. He is regularly cited about how the Sherman Act applies to professional sports leagues.

Professor Edelman is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania 's Wharton School and a cum laude graduate of Michigan Law School , where he earned an honorary Scribes Membership for best student note.

For four years, Professor Edelman practiced antitrust and sports litigation in New York, NY with the law firms Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP and Dewey Ballantine LLP. He is currently affiliated with Institute for Information Law & Policy at New York Law School and serves as a regular guest contributor at Street & Smith's Sports Business Journal. He is also founder of a fantasy-sports dispute resolution business.
